Rojo de Fenol. Indicador de pH 🔴🟠🟡
This is Phenol Red, a pH indicator. It is used often in swimming pools in order to control the quality of the water (pH) associated to chlorination. It is also used in cell culture media. It color is yellow below 6.8 and violet above 8.2. I will perform an experiment in order to detect the presence of CO2, becuse it acidifies water and makes its color to turno from violet to yellow. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rojo_de... https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/PH https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PH_indi...
