VFS Captures 52 Helicopters in Action at HAI Heli-Expo 2020!

HAI HELI-EXPO 2020 – Helicopter Flight Demos and Convention Fly-Out Anaheim, California, January 30-31, 2020. The Vertical Flight Society recorded videos of 52 different helicopters in action at HELI-EXPO 2020. Helicopter Association International (HAI) held HAI Heli-Expo 2020 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, January 27-30, 2020. A showcase of the commercial helicopter industry, there were 62 helicopters on display and eight conducting flight demonstrations from the parking lot of Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Once the convention ended, the Vertical Flight Society video recorded most of the display helicopters flying away from the convention center from a temporary heliport outside the exhibit hall. This was a unique opportunity to see some of the world's most popular civilian helicopter models in flight over a short period. 00:00 - Full HAI HELI-EXPO Video Helicopter Flight Demos, Angel Stadium of Anaheim – January 30, 2020 00:16 – N505EX, Bell 505 Jet Ranger X 01:24 – N824BM, Leonardo AW119Kx Koala 03:46 – N407VC, Bell 407GXi 03:55 – N139H, Leonardo AW139, Honeywell 05:18 – N16WW, Bell 429 06:42 – N19NL, Airbus H130 07:52 – N499AH, Airbus H135 08:06 – N562AH, Airbus H125 Anaheim Convention Center Fly-Out - January 30, 2020 08:33 – N589HF, Bell AH-1F Cobra 09:35 – N407PF, Bell 407 11:07 – N50NT, Airbus AS350B2 12:04 – N505CY, Bell 505 Jet Ranger X 12:49 – N1032F, Bell OH-58A Kiowa, Washoe County 14:11 – N110SD, Bell UH-1V “Huey”, Pinal County Sheriff 15:48 – N920FC, MD530F, Fresno County Sheriff Anaheim Convention Center Fly-Out – January 31, 2020 16:34 – N429WN, Bell 429 16:51 – N226LA, Airbus H125, Los Angeles Police Department 17:42 – N619GE, Airbus H145, SDGE 18:40 – N60CU, Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk, Coulson–Unical 20:08 – N411PN, Bell 212, Santa Barbara County Sheriff 21:15 – G–XAML, Airbus H130, Aston Martin interior 21:54 – N55UP, Bell 206B Jet Ranger 23:02 – N4054M, Robinson R44 II 24:00 – N755AE, Airbus AS350B3 25:01 – N548BF, Bell 412EP 25:41 – N4050P, Robinson R44 Cadet 26:39 – N8286, Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk, HP Helicopters 28:02 – C–FNCH, Airbus AS350B3, LR Helicopters 29:21 – N4057T, Robinson R66 29:55 – N553XB, Sikorsky S-76D 32:10 – XA–ZRA, Airbus H175, Transportes Aéreos Pegaso 34:20 – N413CE, Bell 429, Bell Textron Inc. 35:32 – C–GPID, Bell 505 Jet Ranger X 38:27 – N411UH, Bell 407, Air Med, University of Utah 39:28 – N517AH, Airbus EC145e, Airmedic 40:26 – N44UH, Robinson R22 41:28 – C–FFCL, Airbus AS332L Super Puma, Horizon Helicopters 42:47 – N198AE, Airbus AS350B3, Temsco 43:56 – N17FH, Sikorsky UH-60A, Firehawk Helicopters 46:54 – N525T, Bell 525 Relentless, Bell Textron Inc. 48:47 – N139PR, Leonardo AW139 49:18 – N308TC, Leonardo AW169, Travis County STAR Flight 51:10 – N412EX, Bell-Subaru 412EPX 53:34 – XC–ARM, Airbus AS350B3 54:40 – N407HW, Bell 407GXi 55:30 – Leonardo AW189, Era Helicopters 56:43 – N381RD, Bell 212, Once owned by Dr. Forrest Bird 57:55 – N52SH, Bell 505 Jet Ranger X 58:24 – N35DH, Enstrom 280FX 59:03 – N821LA, Sikorsky S-70i Firehawk, Los Angeles County Fire Department 1:01:26 – N283SD, Sikorsky S-70i Firehawk, City of San Diego Fire-Rescue Department 1:01:52 – N483DF, Sikorsky S-70i Firehawk, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) About the Vertical Flight Society: VFS was founded as the American Helicopter Society in 1943 by the visionaries of the early helicopter industry, who believed that technological advancements and collaboration were essential to support this new type of aircraft. Today, history is repeating itself with VFS playing a similar role helping to advance today’s revolutionary VTOL aircraft. See our electric VTOL website at www.eVTOL.news.
