Caiman Gets A Bigger Cage!

We are moving our Curvier's Dwarf Caiman to a bigger enclosure today! Our Caiman is growing up and its cage will be expanded. Dwarf Caimans require a unique style of cage of mostly water and some land. These crocodilians walk around quite a bit on land (at night) so they will require a land portion in their enclosure too. Dwarf Caimans are a nocturnal species, which means they come out at night and are active at this time. During the day Caimans spend most of the day hiding. Especially, when they are little! In this video we also cover main topics of caiman housing, a bit about care, info about crocodilians and how to "read" them. Having a crocodilian as a pet is always a huge responsibility, they are definitely not for an average keeper! A lot of caution goes into making videos and interacting with Charlie!
