Statfold Barn Railway Summer Steam Spectacular (Part 3) - 6th June 2026

The last bit of my time at the Statfold Steam Gala. I opted to extend my time at Statfold a bit, partly because I was enjoying it, partly because I still wanted to ride behind more locomotives. I worked out that I could have until around 2pm before I had to leave if I was going to make it to my other objective for the day: another line I hadn't been to before: the Battlefield Line. I intended to visit it and the nearby Bosworth Field, sight of the Battle of Bosworth in 1485 that saw the end of the Wars of the Roses, but staying longer at Statfold meant I had to sacrifice visiting the battlefield itself in order to be able to travel up and down the Battlefield Line. I did manage to ride behind a few more locomotives, and I also saw the turntable in action, which was nice. But in the end there were a few locos I missed. So I will probably be back at Statfold at some point in the future, if only to hopefully complete the set (plus any operational locomotives that were staying in the roundhouse during the event)! In the end, I got 11 out of the 14 locos and only missed out on the following: Hunslet 0-4-2ST 'Howard' Hunslet 0-4-2ST 'Trangkil no.4' Bagnall 0-4-2T 'Isaac' So hopefully I can tick them off in the future! Locomotives travelled behind: Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 'Lautoka no. 11' 'Fiji' Bagnall 4-4-0T 'Isibutu' Andrew Barclay 0-4-0WT 'Cegin' Hunslet 0-4-0ST 'Sybil Mary' Hudswell Clarke 0-4-0ST 'Lautoka no.19' Locomotives seen: Hunslet 0-4-2PT 'CDC no. 1' Fowler 0-4-0ST 'Sena No.VII' Krauss 0-4-2T 'Sragi no.1' Hunslet 0-4-2ST 'Howard' Hunslet 0-4-2ST 'Trangkil no.4' Fowler 0-4-2T 'Saccharine' Part 1:    • Statfold Barn Railway Summer Steam Spectac...   Signal:    • Demo Signal at Statfold   Part 2:    • Statfold Barn Railway Summer Steam Spectac...   Photographs:    • Statfold Barn Railway Summer Steam Spectac...   Battlefield Line:    • Battlefield Line - 6th June 2026
