Today, I tried making a bouquet by focusing on the basics of the spiral. While there are various techniques and forms for bouquet design, the most important element is ultimately the fundamental spiral. Once the spiral is stably established, you can create a sufficiently beautiful bouquet without any special structure. For this design, I first created volume using peonies, syrenes, and shepherd's purse as the centerpiece. I alternated between these three materials and used more than half of the prepared flowers to establish the overall shape, then added roses and stock to fill in the density. Once the basic form was complete, I added amsonias and clematis to provide accents. Blue and purple flowers rise here and there like stars, creating an even more delicate and lovely atmosphere. In today's lesson, rather than focusing on complex techniques, we concentrated on the direction and flow of the spiral, and the process of creating natural variations in height.
