As an aspiring composer, I wish to compose a sonatina myself in the near future. So i have decided to consult the great masters for inspiration. I wound up stumbling upon this neat sonatina by Beethoven in G minor. I am a fan of its clear sonata structure and I will certainly use it as an anchor for my compositions as well. I consulted Carl Czerny’s Edition for the metronome marks for the Sonatina in G Minor. It lists a metronome mark of Quarter Note - 88.
