Full HD 60FPS: NJ Transit on the North Jersey Coast Line with Erie Lackawanna and YL-54 3/31/26

This video features a handful of evening NJ Transit trains on the North Jersey Coast Line in Spring Lake and Bay Head. I initially went to Spring Lake to see the arrival of train 4367, with the Erie Lackawanna heritage unit leading. A couple of minutes later, I turned the camera around for eastbound train 4378. Soon after 4378 rounded the curve near Beacon Boulevard, I noticed that the engineer dimmed the headlights. For some reason, I failed to put two and two together, and YL-54 surprised me from behind with GP40PH-2 4106 pulling two Comet coaches toward Bay Head. I then decided to head to Bay Head to check out what YL-54 was going to do, which really amounted to not much. The crew coupled up to a short string of ALPs and coaches, then waited for a window to head east to Long Branch. After trains 4384 and 3373 completed their station work, YL-54 departed Bay Head with an ALP-46 and ALP-45DP joining some coaches for the ride back east.
