Descansa en Paz Alba

Alba arrived at the Gaia Sanctuary Foundation in 2016 along with 35 other sheep and lambs from a horrific case in Navarrete. They had been abandoned without food or water in a warehouse containing 140 decomposing animal carcasses that were unable to survive. Over these years at the Sanctuary, many of those who arrived have developed illnesses that have taken their lives. Illnesses related to the horrific abandonment and abuse they experienced. Alba had been very ill for some time with respiratory problems, and this morning at dawn, our little girl left us. It was a quick death, accompanied by her family, surrounded by love. We want to thank you, Alba, for these years you have given us, during which you have allowed us to be your hands and feet, to care for and pamper you. We will miss you very much, but we know that one day we will hug you again. REST IN PRECIOUS PEACE 💚🙏🏼
