UNZA Sewer Project Nears Completion

By Gift Inambao Secretary to the Cabinet PATRICK KANGWA has expressed satisfaction with the progress made on the rehabilitation of the sewer system at the University of Zambia –UNZA- Great East Road Campus in Lusaka. The Zambia National Service –ZNS- which is undertaking the project, has so far completed 720 of the 764 metres on the primary sewer line, while works on the secondary sewer line and hostel facilities are also progressing well. Speaking after touring the project site, Mr. KANGWA commended ZNS for delivering quality and cost-effective work. And ZNS Commander MALITI SOLOCHI assured the nation that the project will be completed to the required standards. Meanwhile, University of Zambia Students Union –UNZASU- President MWATO KABASO has thanked President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for the swift response to the sanitation challenges at the learning institution.
