This corner property stood out for all the wrong reasons. You could see how bad it had gotten before you even pulled up. The grass was out of control, the trees were overgrown, weeds were everywhere, and the old brick pathways had almost completely disappeared under all of the mess. I knocked on the door, but no one answered... That’s when I spoke to one of the neighbours, and she told me no one had lived there or cleaned the place up for years. She said everyone could see how bad it had become… and she just wished someone would finally do something about it. I decided to clean it up for free, not just for the property itself, but for the whole community. It had become a real eyesore, and leaving it like that only made it more likely to attract squatters or unwanted activity. My goal was to make the place look cared for again, give the neighbours something nicer to look at, and help bring a bit of pride back to the street.
