In 2022, I was invited to crew on a Hunter 460 sailboat from Astoria, Oregon to San Francisco Bay, CA, so OF COURSE I did it! There's some good info in this video about crossing the Columbia River bar, as well as time spent in Coos Bay, Oregon, waiting on a weather window, some great drone footage of the massive bridge in Astoria, and video of us sailing along at 8 knots under the Golden Gate Bridge, seeing some historic boats, and eating some amazing food!
