The "khaen" is a traditional Isan musical instrument with a beautiful and familiar sound. However, few people realize how difficult it is to make, especially the precise cuts of the khaen. This requires skilled teachers to pass down the knowledge, which has been passed down from generation to generation, and has become a primary source of income for the people of Tha Ruea, Nakhon Phanom Province.
