Short little Roman hunt out in False Bay, South Africa. Bag limit: (2pp/pd) Minimum size: (30cm) Red Roman are endemic to Southern Africa's waters, found above rocky bottoms and reefs, in water up to 100 meters (330 ft). Mature females transform into territorial males upon further growth. Roman are residential fish species often seeking the shelter of caves. Over the spawning period however, females wander beyond their normal home boundaries.
