Stronger Than Blue One friendship has the power to change the course of an entire life. Stronger Than Blue is a story-song inspired by my longtime friend Randy Stonehill. Unlike many of the story-songs on this channel, the events depicted in this video are based on real memories and real experiences from my own life. The airport meetings, long-distance phone calls, songwriting conversations, Seal Beach walks, family memories, and moments of encouragement portrayed throughout the video all come from actual events. The fantasy elements woven into the second half of the story reflect the world that eventually grew from those experiences. As a fantasy author, I often express ideas through the language of stories, and the characters and settings from Julu and Jirvania became a way to illustrate the lasting impact that kindness, friendship, and encouragement can have on a person’s life. The lyrics for this song are my original work and were written by me. The visual artwork was created using AI image-generation tools based on my detailed scene descriptions and direction. Each image was carefully designed to portray specific memories, people, locations, and story elements connected to the song. At its heart, Stronger Than Blue is a song about gratitude. It is about a friendship that arrived during a difficult season, the encouragement that helped me find my footing, and the realization that small acts of kindness can continue shaping lives long after a particular chapter has ended.
