Well you know me and that's why this week you join me at Donington Services on the M1 putting the comment to the test. Let's just say it's interesting... getting boxed in by lorries where they shouldn't be, having people wandering around the motorhome, choosing between KFC or Burger King for dinner and trying to sleep through what sounded like the Titanic departing next to my head at 6am. All in the name of research. All this for £38! Honestly one of the worst park ups and night's sleeps I've had in my nine years full timing. Zero hookup, zero fresh water, zero waste facilities and lorries within inches of the Land Yacht all night. Meanwhile pub stops tend to be quiet, dark, usually free or £10/£20 worth of food & drink, so it would've been half the price and I'd have actually woken up rested. Don't worry, I'm fair though and I go through all the pros and cons so you can make your own mind up, but honestly, I think we both already know the winner haha Was this just a bad services and I need to try somewhere else or you might have something completely different in mind?
