Welcome to Almere (Flevoland, Netherlands - Amsterdam Tourism)
I've been to Amsterdam several times and I keep exploring for new places to stay that are nice, cheap, and convenient for getting into the city. This time, I stayed in Almere, a city in Flevoland, which is a province in the Netherlands that did not exist before World War II. The Dutch created this entire province from reclaimed land over what used to be a shallow bay. In this video, I give a quick introduction to Almere and Flevoland, as well as a few tips for tourists looking to stay here. I had a great experience at the Best Western Plus on the Almere Plaza, which is only about 100 meters from the station and a quick train ride to Amsterdam.
