High Altitude Chill: Sub-Zero Glacial Lake Wild Camp

I decided to make the most of the break in the weather and head to Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), to climb Cadair Idris. I camped on the shores of Llyn Cau, a beautiful glacial lake that sits in the shadows of Cadair Idris. It was a beautiful, but cold night, with temperatures dropping to sub zero. I kept warm in my Terra Nova Laser Compact AS tent, and used my Thermarest NeoAir XTherm and Alpkit Pipedream 600 for my sleeping system. On awaking in the morning, I made an ascent to the summit of Cadair Idris, where I witnessed some beautiful scenery that was accompanied with an epic sunrise. I hope you enjoyed the video.
