Kupyansk & Kherson: Two Fronts, One Mission for Victory | This Week's Toonie

Two fronts. Two units. One mission: victory. In this episode of This Week's Toonie, we travel from the forests and fields around Kupyansk in eastern Ukraine to the riverfront city of Kherson in the south. The 101st Separate Guard Brigade operates in the Kupyansk direction, where mortar crews often move long distances under constant drone surveillance. A pickup truck will help them move personnel and equipment more quickly, reducing exposure and increasing mobility on a battlefield where every minute matters. The 34th Separate Marine Brigade's Vampire drone team continues defending Kherson, the city many of them call home. Their drones support combat operations and increasingly deliver supplies to frontline positions. A van will help transport the equipment, batteries, generators, and supplies needed to keep these missions running. To help us understand the reality on both fronts, two soldiers responded to questions about their service, their units, the challenges they face, and the importance of international support.
