Honda X-ADV - off Road to Quattro Venti

My second ever off road excursion on my 2020 Honda X-ADV 750. I push myself a step further on big rocks and loads of muddy dirt service roads, deep in the woods. Great learning experience. 80% of the time standing on the excellent LighTech folding foot pegs. At this early stage I had yet to learn that the traction control is no help at all in this steep, slippery inclines, so you’ll cringe with me as the bike resents me greatly for that. I know better now. I also plan to install the Scorpio Rally STR at my next tire change, as I’ve been properly bitten by the ‘dirt bug’, so much so that I’m looking at getting a second ride, an enduro in all likelihood. Since then I’ve also installed the X-Grip from RAM, so that I don’t have to stop to consult the map at every fork like I did here. For trail riding Google maps is of course useless, and I’ve discovered the amazing Windy Maps app, here you can navigate all roads all the way down to single tracks, if your bike is up to it of course.
