Miss Basant Ahmed will work with you on the most important questions from the student textbook and assessment book, which comprise 80% of the exam. We also review all the important grammar rules, such as the simple present tense, comparative and superlative forms, and we'll show you how to write a paragraph and a suitable title for the passage. Key Points in the Review: Listening Questions: Practical exercise in listening to the text and solving True/False questions about the senses, animals, and places in Egypt. Grammar: Explanation of the Present Simple tense and when to use the -s form of the verb and when to use the infinitive. Comparative Forms: Using -er + than. Superlative Forms: Using the + est. Using the negative particles don't / doesn't. Prepositions: in, on, between, next to. Passage Question: How to answer the passage without wasting time, extract direct and indirect answers, and how to create a suitable title and summarize the paragraph in one sentence. Key Vocabulary: Review vocabulary from the curriculum such as Animals, Habitats, Jobs, and Senses. Punctuation: The rules for capital letters in nouns, countries, months, and days of the week, and when to use a full stop or question mark. Practical Plan for Achieving English (Miss Basant's Tips): Listening: In the listening section, read the questions before the teacher reads the text so you're prepared with your answers. Passage: Don't look for words based on similarity; understand the passage first, then answer. When asked to summarize or give a title, get the main idea, not just the first sentence. Grammar: Focus on key words. If you find "than," it's the comparative form "er," and if you find "the," it's the superlative form "est." Punctuation: Read the sentence to the end; there might be a person's name or a country's name in the text that you didn't notice.
