Real Romance Scam Messages: Red Flags

Romance scams don’t usually begin with obvious lies—they often begin with kindness, attention, and what feels like a genuine connection. In this video, I share some of the biggest red flags I experienced during my own romance scam. Looking back, these warning signs seemed small on their own, but together they formed a pattern that I didn’t recognize until much later. Some of the red flags discussed include: • Being contacted unexpectedly by a stranger • Thoughtful, in-depth conversations that quickly built trust • Frequent wellness checks and constant communication • Love bombing and intense emotional attachment • Subtle mentions of cryptocurrency and investing • Becoming defensive or angry when asked identity-related questions • Emotional manipulation and guilt when asking reasonable questions • Future promises without real action • Avoiding transparency while expecting complete trust If you’re currently talking to someone online or know someone who is, I hope these real-life examples help you recognize the warning signs before it’s too late. If this video helps even one person avoid becoming a victim, then sharing my story is worth it. ❤️ Please Like, Subscribe, and Share to help spread awareness and protect others from romance scams. #RomanceScam #ScamAwareness #ScamSense
