The electric special weapon ranking from the other day seems to have been well received. It takes quite a while to make, though. NewBy the way, I was thinking, I wonder if they'll do a ranking of the special weapons that appear in each new series? Someone else has done that before me. If I were to follow suit and do the exact same thing now, it would just be plagiarism. It's probably unavoidable that they'll be somewhat similar, but I'll try to pursue things that can only be done on this channel as much as possible. Well, that's a good thing. NewSo, I wonder which genre of special weapon should I rank this time? This time's genre is A ranking of charge-type special weapons! Maybe charge-type weapons like level 5's charge kick? Exactly. Strictly speaking, it refers to special weapons that require Mega Man to make physical contact with the enemy in order to attack. There are nine different entries in total! That's surprising. I thought so too. At first I thought there would be around five. When I looked, it turns out there are quite a few. By the way, there are many exceptions to this ranking, so I'll explain them individually. Also, in the case of special weapons like the Tengu Blade, which allow for two fighting styles, charge attack and ranged attack, one of the abilities is treated as not having any. Newly, the ranking is based solely on performance as a charge weapon. If scores were assigned to each of the two abilities, it goes without saying that the weapon would receive a high score. It seems that the firepower of weapons like the Pile Drive and Power Gear changes, but what does that do in that case? The number in Power Gear is the maximum firepower the weapon can produce. Also, since Mega Man himself makes contact with the enemy this time, the range is all set to 1. If it hits you, there's no range or anything. I thought about using the concept of movement distance instead, but since there are multiple special weapons with slightly different features, it would be difficult to talk about them all in the same way, so I decided to standardize it as range = 1.
