14H SUFRIENDO | THE TRAKA | TOMI MISSER

I decided to try to overcome The Traka 360 challenge after finishing my participation in Girona Singletrack MTB, speaking with Gerard from Klassmark. He told me that The Traka had become the benchmark gravel race in Europe, and I was able to see it for myself. More than 25 countries participated, among the 800 registered, and the level of competition was extremely high, which predicted some very close competitions. The Traka started at 6 a.m., at night, and with lights. A peculiar schedule because you have up to 36 hours to finish. The first hour is without natural light, and the dance of lights is spectacular. My 14 hours of suffering began in the first kilometer; my gearbox didn't work for a few minutes. From then on, it was a chase, an incredible adventure full of constant mood swings, but it has been incredible since then. First, to be able to finish, and second, to do so in third place after a sprint with my two adventure companions.
