Dr Eccles & Jane Green MBE – Hypermobility & Neurodivergence #HNDay

This is the recording of the live streamed launch of the inaugural Hypermobility Neurodivergence Day (HNDay) 5th May, created in response to our community’s call to connect hypermobility, neurodivergence, education and health and all age support. The “TheySED” campaign reflects what many in our community have been told for years — that their experiences are not real, or are “all in their heads”. “We SED it isn’t” — but ultimately it is up to you and what you say now. In this live streamed discussion, Jane Green MBE, founder of SEDSConnective, is joined by Patron Dr Jessica Eccles. As with many live sessions, there are moments where camera, sound, and lighting present challenges. Together they explore the urgent need for a joined-up pathway, including NICE guidance, and the importance of connecting education, health, and research with user-led charities through meaningful co-production. SEDSConnective is a user-led charity working on neurodivergence (autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, Tourette’s+) and symptomatic hypermobility (EDS/HSD).
