Using compost as a simple topdressing to thicken and green your lawn

Thinking of using compost as a topdressing to thicken and green your lawn? Budget (haven't tested these): https://amzn.to/4gDJtNZ Lawn levelling lutes: Premium: http://product/landzie-lawn-level-48/ Budget (haven't tested these) : https://amzn.to/4gDJAsT Landscapers rake: https://amzn.to/4d1PNLT (heavy duty) or use a simple garden rake Stiff brush: https://amzn.to/47yPRSs Application rate: You should get around 7 square metres per bag depending on the thickness, make sure it's well raked in, so it's nestled in between the grass blades. Some compost will have very small twigs in.. you can live with it, or sieve it first. I prefer premium compost (lawnright.co.uk/compost) because it gos straight on and is pretty much perfect. Make sure any compost is nice and dry otherwise it will clump and not spread very easily. Need help?
