Niseko DRY on Christmas day. Ja-pow where?!

Welcome to Niseko, home of 'Ja-pow' (Japanese powder), named so because of the sheer amount of snowfall Hokkaido receives. Or so we thought. Leading up to Christmas day, Niseko had received basically no snow of note (except for a couple of days where it dumped - but the temperature proceeded to rise right after, undoing all the work). Conditions on Christmas Eve were awful, and with no snow heading in to the next day...well, maybe it would've been better to spend Christmas Day into the onsen. I, like hundreds of others who travelled across the world for this famous snow, ended up extremely disappointed. Please enjoy watching my disappointment here! :) Date: 25 December 2025 Location: Niseko Village, Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan Skis: Atomic Bent 100
