The lyrics work by only using “kore” (this) and “sore” (that), “koko” [here] and “soko” [there] and finally “kono” (this/my) and “sono” (that/your). Yet, there are nothing but hints about what places or situations the speaker talks about – At least for these uninvolved. The only possibilities given in the lyrics are “memories” or “heart”, but that would make most of the lyrics metaphorical. It could also refer to actual places though, if the speaker moved away or something. I refrained from adding any kind of interpretation in the translation, so you can make up your own!
