Apollo 8 NASSP Day 3 — The Burn That Had to Work

Join me for a realistic simulation of the Apollo 8 mission using NASSP, one of the most detailed Apollo spacecraft simulations available for Orbiter. We’ll follow the mission as closely as possible, from launch and Earth orbit operations to translunar flight, lunar orbit, and the journey home. I’ll be working through real Apollo-style procedures, checklists, burns, navigation steps, and mission events while explaining what is happening along the way. I’m an engineer and a lifelong spaceflight fan, and I love when people ask questions about Apollo, NASA, spacecraft systems, or the mission itself. Whether you know the Apollo program well or are just curious about how the first crewed mission to the Moon worked, feel free to hang out, ask questions, and learn along with me. This is not an arcade flight. It’s a slow, realistic, procedure-driven Apollo 8 simulation.
