Doctors and Patients Face to Face Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most serious complication and progression of liver disease, and is the leading cause of death among liver patients. It is the most common liver cancer, ranking fifth in males and eighth in females. Liver cirrhosis is the most significant risk factor for the development of the tumor; in fact, most cases of the tumor occur in cirrhotic livers. To learn more about this disease and provide more information about its diagnosis, Epac Onlus organized a talk on Thursday, November 10th at 6:30 PM.
