May Day 2026 at 15.56 and 16.02. This was the Friday afternoon before the bank holiday weekend so 69011 with 66763 and 66789 was preparing for maintenance work over the long weekend. This area west London is blighted by planes heading into Heathrow. One forgets how bad the noise is. A bad decision was made after the war to develop Heathrow and close Croydon Airport when far fewer people would have been affected by doing the opposite.
