This video gives an introduction to using dial test indicators. Whether you're measuring a part setup on your machine, or checking machine geometry as you build a machine tool, indicators are essential tools in the machinist's and machine builders toolbox. This general information will be quite familiar if you've been taking indicator measurements for a while, but if you have someone in your shop that isn't familiar with using these tools yet this video will be helpful.
