My son decided he wanted a set of longtube headers on his c6 Grand Sport Corvette. Since he is ballin on a budget he pick the Speed Engineering 2" Longtubes and off road x pipe. I know that some will think 1 7/8" would have been better but if he does add forced induction down the road the bigger primary tubes will be worth it. I have to say the install of the headers was pretty easy. The X-pipe took a little more work. The 2" Longtube Headers from Speed engineering slid right into place and fit great. They are stainless and should hold up well. I have used them on several cars in the past. With the new headers and no catalytic converters the car is way louder. It sounds good. What is even better is this car has factory npp exhaust with a mild to wild switch. It gives you the ability to close and open on demand. Quiet or loud you pick! If you are looking for a how to install c6 header video or a good quality header that won't break the bank, this is it. Quality of the welds and fitement for the C6 Corvette is amazing.
