Ремонт потекшего заднего тормозного цилиндра ВАЗ, замена манжет на не родные

The rear brake cylinder flowed on the car of the VAZ family, more precisely 2109. I decided to show the repair of the cylinder and the replacement of the cuffs with new, but not native, that is, not from the repair kit VAZ. The shown cuffs go much better, since they have a crowned shape, which works better in old, worn-out sleeves of the brake cylinder because of better fit of the edges of the cuffs to the walls of the cylinder. Also these cuffs give better sealing of the brake cylinder, in comparison with the standard ones. This is achieved thanks to the crown shape of the lip of the cuff, which, when the cylinder is working, is additionally chopped by the pressure of the brake fluid in the cylinder, thereby creating an additional clamping of the lip of the cuff against the wall and tightening, which, in the end, contributes to better and more durable work of the braking cylinder and the entire brake system of the car as a whole. When installing the cuffs dressed on the piston, it is necessary to carefully fill the edge in the cylinder with a screwdriver in a circle so that it is not damaged and there are no tears and incisions. Also, perhaps the inner edge of the cuff will be slightly wider than its seat on the piston, for which the inner edge itself must be carefully trimmed from the side of the expanded crown part (!) With a sharp knife or scissors to the landing size - this is the size of the crown part - its height. The pressure of the liquid will open the cuff and it will be sealed. These circumstances, alas, could not show, because the camera was discharged. The cuffs are put tightly into the cylinder, but then they go perfectly and you can forget about the leaking cylinders with them. The cuff, which was installed, from the repair kit of the clutch slave cylinder GAZel or Volga. The second one, which was shown for the sample, of unknown origin, who knows where it comes from - write in the comments. After the repair and replacement of the cuffs shown, the tightness and the work of the cylinder were completely restored.
