Weights in social surveys: an introduction

This video provides an introduction to weighting in social surveys, it explains why we need weights, types of weighting variables and how these are created, how weights work, the importance of weighting and where to find information on the weighting variables included in a dataset. It is part of the UK Data Service’s interactive Data Skills Module: Introduction to survey data.
