MD State Trooper AW139 evacuates injured construction worker

A construction worker who had been trapped in a collapsed trench near Lake Linganore was transported by ambulance to Deer Crossing Elementary School and transferred to the waiting AW139 Helicopter then flown to Baltimore's Shock Trauma Center. My dog Max observes quietly, lying on the ground next to me. The soccer field at the school is an open area with nearby road access, and has been used many times as a heliport whenever there has been an accident in the Linganore area.
