This is by far and away the BEST way to learn new calisthenics skills. I have used "work-down sets" to learn ALL my calisthenics skills. Work-down sets involve starting with the hardest variation of a calisthenics skill you can do, and then working your way down to easier exercises as your workout progresses and as your muscles become more fatigued. Work-down sets will help you learn skills such as: Front lever Back lever Planche L-Sit Muscle up Handstand Human flag And every other calisthenics skill! Work down sets help you learn calisthenics skills faster because they repeatedly (and thoroughly) work the relevant muscles involved in holding the skill you are working towards. This not only strengthens the muscles, but also improves their endurance. Muscular strength and endurance are crucial when it comes to successfully performing calisthenics skills, so by building both of these, work-down sets allow you to learn calisthenics skills with greater ease.
