I tried using this tiny tactile synth with Ableton... and I'm hooked

What is going on, everybody! Khordmaster here. Today we are stepping away from the software grid to look at an absolute design marvel: the ESI Xsynth. This thing is paper-thin, aluminum, and packs a massive engine right under the hood, but it has a few quirks you need to set up right out of the box. In this video, I’m celebrating the recent Knicks run, breaking down how to fix the default preset navigation, and testing out whether we can completely power this rig standalone using a standard smartphone. I also break down why I’m integrating this direct tactile layout into my master Ableton Arrangement View workflow for fast track tracking.
