Apéro hour in Tours, Loire Valley

The city of Tours, Loire Valley, is my new home, and I couldn't be happier to welcome you there. When you fall in love with a city in the heart of winter months between lockdowns, with many restrictions in place, you expect to love it even more in the springtime once businesses reopen and (a semblance of) normal life resumes. Two weeks ago I took France with Véro patrons on a virtual tour of a peaceful Tours, just a few days before French cafés, restaurants, boutiques, museums and other cultural places were allowed to reopen on May 19, 2021. We took a closer look at this beautiful city, as many business owners prepared for the grand reopening. As a reminder, it had been 7 months (during lockdown #3) since anyone in France had been able to sit outside their beloved "terrasses."
