In Stavropol Krai, according to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, the commercial price of diesel fuel ranged from 73,750 to 91,000 rubles per ton, with the average price of 82,250,000 rubles rising by 14,000 rubles since the beginning of the year, or 20.5%. The surge in diesel fuel prices in the region coincided with the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
