"Out of Print": New Exhibition Explores the Art and Activism of Shepard Fairey
For more than 35 years, Shepard Fairey has revolutionized both the art and activist spaces, using his trade-mark style to challenge authority and consumerism. His work, from the "Andre the Giant has a Posse" sticker that evolved into the "Obey" project, to the 2008 Obama "Hope" campaign poster, is now the subject of a landmark exhibition, "Shepard Fairey: Out of Print" at Beyond the Streets Gallery in Los Angeles. With more on the retrospective, his life, career, message, and more, Fairey joins Cher Calvin and Micah Ohlman for an extensive one-on-one. November 18, 2025.
