Only in Fontainebleau...The World's Oldest Boulder Problem

The Fissure Wehrlin lays claim to being the world's first recorded boulder problem. Jacques Wehrlin claimed the first ascent in 1908, climbing it in nailed boots and creating the very first grade 3 problem. 114 years later, despite heavy colds and too much Christmas dinner, we take advantage of a dry spell to see how much of a challenge it still presents to modern climbers.
