Recently, one of my students asked me what kind of music I enjoy listening to. If you had asked me 10 years ago, I probably would answer rock, metal, or something much heavier. As the years have passed by, I've discovered many different styles of music. These days, I'm drawn more to slower songs that still have a strong groove and rhythm. To be honest, I've only watched one episode of Cowboy Bebop, but its iconic ending theme song, “The Real Folk Blues”, instantly captured my heart.
