harman/kardon 730: Egy High-End rádióerősítő 1975-ből... Maradhat? #harmankardon

People tend to think that things used to be better. If you think about it, for example, under socialism it was impossible to buy a Túrórudi that did not already taste bad because of the cottage cheese it’s made from already gone sour at the moment of purchase. Today's Túrórudi is a much better product for this reason alone. Of course, I was still very young before the regime change, but despite that, I somehow vividly remember this thing. We also tend to think about HIFI that it used to be better, and modern stuff doesn't sound good. Well, this is not entirely true, in fact, with today's technology, we “could” even build much better things than we were able to do 40-50 years ago. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the top products of 40-50 years ago aren’t in game with today's HIFI products, it just means that time has actually passed on them, since technology has developed mercilessly in recent decades. Well, according to many, it has actually regressed... Of course, as always, there are obviously exceptions. The harman/kardon 730 receiver going to be reviewed in this video is a great example of that HIFI in today's sense existed already in the mid-seventies. If we put modern features aside, the 730 is completely in the same league as the Emotiva PT-100 and A-150 in terms of sound quality, and in terms of technical parameters it’s closely behind them, even though there are almost 50 years of technical evolution between the two. I came up with the theory that, similar to rock music, where in the last 50 years all possible chords have been played on that particular guitar, in the circuit design of amplifiers, pretty much everything that could be invented has already been invented and we’re only refining the already existing things. So, in this video, I will review a High-End receiver from 1975, which I couldn't have found a better example to support my previously told theory… 0:00 Intro 3:36 harman/kardon history 6:52 harman/kardon 730: About the Dual Powered technology... 8:22 The power amp section and other tech specs 9:39 Aesthetics and controls 11:25 Back panel connectors 13:26 How does it compare to a modern amp? 15:28 Radio Tuner: Is it better than a modern DSP tuner? 16:56 Final thoughts: Who should buy it? 19:00 Please support my channel!
