Ich steige früh am Morgen in ein Boot auf Ko Phi Phi Don und lasse mich hinüberbringen zur anderen Seite der Insel Ko Phi Phi Leh, zum Bootsanleger bei Loh Samah Bay. Von dort aus führt ein Holzsteg durch den Dschungel zur berühmten Maya Bay. Nach ein paar Schritten stehe ich plötzlich am weißen Sandstrand — türkisfarbenes Wasser, steile Felswände und die Kulisse, die du aus dem Film „The Beach“ kennst. Kaum angekommen: Menschen überall – viele machen Fotos für Instagram, laufen am Strand entlang, genießen den Moment. Ich schlendere auf und ab, nehme alles in mich auf: die Farben, das Licht, die Atmosphäre. Es fühlt sich an wie ein Traum — und doch mitten im Tourismus-Trubel. Ich zeige euch genau, wie der Weg war, wie der Steg aussieht, wie voll es war – und warum sich ein Besuch trotzdem lohnt. 🇬🇧 English I hopped on a boat from Ko Phi Phi Don early in the morning and crossed over to the other side of Ko Phi Phi Leh, arriving at the pier in Loh Samah Bay. From there we walked along a wooden jetty through the jungle until we reached the iconic Maya Bay. One moment you’re walking under trees, the next — you’re stepping onto white sand, turquoise water and towering limestone cliffs: the beach made world-famous by The Beach. When we arrived, the place was packed — lots of people, many taking photos for Instagram, walking along the shore, snapping that perfect shot. I strolled up and down the beach, soaking in the light, the views, the chaos — and the beauty. De là, on marche sur une passerelle en bois à travers la jungle jusqu’à la célèbre Maya Bay. En quelques pas, vous quittez les arbres pour arriver sur un sable blanc immaculé, une mer turquoise et d’imposantes falaises calcaires — la plage devenue célèbre grâce au film The Beach. À notre arrivée : foule, nombreux touristes, photos Instagram, allées et venues sur le rivage, chacun cherchant le bon angle. Je me suis promené le long du rivage, profitant de la lumière, du paysage, de l’énergie intense — et de la beauté malgré la foule.
