Jurassic World Avventura al Civico Museo Insubrico di Storia Naturale di Clivio e Induno Olona 🦕🐠

The name is very long, "CIVICO MUSEO INSUBRICO DI STORIA NATURALE di Clivio e Induno Olona," and it houses and displays unparalleled treasures: zoological collections (with specimens of birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, fish, and lepidoptera), a mycology section, a xylotheque, and a large paleontology exhibition from the Middle Triassic. 🐲 The surprising thing is that everything in the museum comes from this area. The paleontological collection, in fact, is part of the UNESCO site of Monte San Giorgio, which also hosts the Visitor Center for the Italian side. 🦔🐟 Our visit to this little gem in the province of Varese, located in Clivio, a few kilometers from the Swiss border, was wonderful: Francesca, president of the "Naturalis Insubria" association and our guide on this tour, accompanied us and described the fossil finds and all the other specimens on display. We were thrilled and recommend everyone to visit: you too can meet the LARIOSAURUS VALCERESII, the holotype of the species and an almost complete find! 🦕 This museum also organizes ACTIVITIES and EXCURSIONS in the area to help visitors discover and appreciate the natural beauty of the area. 🥾🌲 In fact, the Museum hosts several associations: • Valceresio Naturalist Group (G.N.V.C.)
