Thilo Töpken (32nd minute) and Dominik Kother (56th minute) scored for Duisburg, while Erik Engelhardt netted for Cottbus (90th minute). Cottbus thus maintains its narrow lead in second place, while Duisburg moves into third place, level on points, and remains in contention for promotion to the 2. Bundesliga.
