This is a report from the Asian elephant enclosure at Higashiyama Zoo. Walder's move is taking longer than expected. Because of the fence separating them, letting Walder and the Anura family out at the same time could cause problems, so this is being avoided. As a result, the Anura family hasn't been able to go out to the main enclosure. And of course, we haven't been able to see them up close either. For all of you who are missing Anura, Sakura, and Urara, here's a video of the small enclosure from a little while ago. This might be their last bath in the small enclosure.
