In this video we talk about how to teach mental math for kids . Mental math strategies are a great way for kids to learn math. We use finger math to teach the mental math secrets for numbers 1 to 5. Subitizing is recognizing the number of objects in a set, quickly, without counting. In this video, we subitize to five using finger math, tally sticks and dot cards.
