Local onde NOSSOS PAIS desembarcaram ao chegar no Brasil

Who doesn't have a family story about a grandmother who came by ship from Europe? Or a grandfather who came fleeing the hardships of the post-war period with the promise of guaranteed work and wealth in the new land called Brazil? All these stories have one thing in common: the HOSPEDARIA DOS IMIGRANTES, located between Mooca and Brás in the city of São Paulo, which was founded in 1887 to welcome and direct immigrants to the coffee plantations. It welcomed more than 2.5 million people of more than 70 nationalities over the 91 years it operated as a hostel. Today it houses a museum that honors the history and culture of these people who helped shape our country.
