The thrift stores have such amazing tablecloths and each one has a gorgeous edging detail that lends to the overall design. I share how I made my "pattern" although its really just plotting your measurements directly on your fabric. You'll want to work with the design details in your specific tablecloth. Designing AROUND those elements. Starting with inexpensive materials like thrifted tablecloths, are a great way to learn some basic pattern making!
